Day 5..Too good to be true

So it looks like I gained a little bit back..but that is to be expected. I did a lot of moving around and cleaning on Sunday plus I had so much energy that I stayed up later than usual. Since I am writing Monday's blog at 8:00pm I guess I can talk about my day. Our council had our annual golf tournament..which meant that I got to stay at one of the holes to see if anyone got a hole in one prize for a brand new truck..of course no one did, but I did get to spend the day talking with my boss which is nice. It was really hard for us to talk when we first started working together..but it has gotten better over the past two years. I am glad that I can depend on him to be a sorta mentor for me while I get to learn the ropes of the business. The diet today practically went out the window because I did not pack a lunch or dinner. I tried to eat light, but they gave us lunch at like 3:30 and by that time I was STARVING! So I am going to be honest here and hope that honesty will win over haha.

Day 4..And I thought I did bad yesterday

I did a lot of running around yesterday morning..which probably resulted in the weight loss. I forgot that the lunch wasn't yesterday..it is next week. Maybe I should be taking something for memory now. The pill I take to curb the sugar intake may have also affected the teeth clenching..well at least in my head it does. The clenching has lessened since yesterday and if I do not have a smoke today technically all the nicotine will be out of my system. Then the only thing for me to worry about is the oral fixation part that pretty much lasts forever..great. I woke up late today, so it looks like I will be skipping breakfast. I do not want to get into that habit, but it is already 10:30 and I already feel like eating a sandwich. I need to come up with something to do today to keep me busy, I may drive around til I find a few garage sales. Hope I don't find something I actually want! True Blood tonight should keep me indoors once the night hits so have a good Sunday everyone!

Day 3..my teeth are KILLING me!

Woohoo! Big weight loss in just two days. I know that it is just water weight, but still exciting! The only problem I am finding is that my teeth are clenching more and more. I am not sure why I am doing this, but I am thinking about buying some gum or possibly eating harder foods to chew (such as carrots) in order to make the clenching stop. I felt like I ate more yesterday, but all the things that I ate were healthier than the choices that I had made in the past. I also did a lot more moving around. I probably went up and down my stairs about 5 times yesterday. I can be very flexible with my job, so when I have a chance to stop by home for something I usually do. I now also eat lunch at home so that I can be in more control of what I eat. It has been helping so I guess I will continue to do just that. This will be a short blog today because I have to get ready for a benefit for a coworkers' grandson. I even learned how to draw certain animals so that I can face paint!
I also wanted to make a list of all the diets and medicine that I have used in the past..the funny part is that I cannot remember all of them:
grapefruit, cabbage, atkins, weight watchers, xenadrine, stackers, stackers 2, low carb, no carb, south beach, and various lean cuisine and smart ones meals..the only one that seemed to work at first was weight watchers. If I would have continued living with my grandfather I probably would have stayed with it. Oh and I have started taking SuperCitrimax in order to curb my sugar cravings..recommened by friends and doctors so I know I am ok. Oh, and no smoking yesterday!

Day 2..man I am beat!

Not a dramatic weight loss today..but a loss! I did not do a lot of moving around yesteday, so I am wondering how my eating habits will change once I do. I went to my Tae Kwon Do class in Odessa last night. In my own head I feel like I am not doing enough during class..but then again it looks like everyone in the class is either ten years younger than me or over 100 lbs lighter. I am keeping up with the class and even got complimented on the heights of my kicks which was awesome! I really missed this sport and it is the only form of exercise that I don't really see as exercise since it is fun for me. Recording an eating plan results in a bigger weight loss so recording yesterday must have worked. I was more aware of when and what I was eating. I was even gauging when I was and wasn't hungry. I did eat some fatty foods yesterday, but it was definitley less than what I was eating before. As far as my smoking goes, I only had barely a cigarrette whereas I was smoking probably a half a pack a day before! It was a challenge, but even though I did smoke I am happy with being able to hold back from buying a pack. It is also looking like I won't be able to go to class for a whole week..ugh..I sometimes hate that I have to work late but it comes with the territory. I will be surrounded by BBQ on Saturday for a benefit on behalf of a coworkers grandson. Good thing I don't like that stuff haha.

Day 1..wow how many times have I said that?

That number scares me to death, but it was the number I faced when I got on the scale this morning. I am 25 years old and I am over 300 lbs..I feel like I should be at some AA meeting and talking to a group of people about this, but this will have to do for now. I have never seen myself as overweight. When I look in the mirror I see someone thinner than that number. Maybe that is one of the reasons I let it get this bad. I am also one of those people that tends to procrastinate to the point of doing something extremely last minute..like 30 minutes before class last minute. One of my doctors a few months ago told me that she was seeing sign of diabetes. It scared me, but apparently not so much. I year ago I had my gallbladder removed. So that means I cannot have fried, fatty and otherwise food that I feel that I cannot live without..what did I do after surgery? Went to a fast food place in town and got a chicken sandwich..I still eat fast food..I am not gonna lie here since I have already told you my weight...I even had some yesterday..wasn't very proud of myself for that one. In my mind, there always has to be a day one. I have had many different day ones' for many different reasons. Not only am I starting another weight loss journey, but I have also decided to quit smoking..probably not the brightest of ideas, but I figured that I might as well stop everything that is bad in order to have my life change.
I guess I will also talk about smoking here, since that is a big part of my life, but I will mostly focus on my weight loss for blogging purposes. I will also be writing down what I eat during the day, including my opinion about the food that I eat. I am hoping that I can get some feedback from people that are doing weight loss plans as well.

So here is to Day 1...the millionth Day 1...but hopefully the last.

My opinion: pretty tasty, considering that I stay away from fat free foods like they are the plague. Possibly a new favorite yogurt flavor as well

My opinion: It could be better. It tastes a little bit worse than the cereal does. Wish that they could put the milk in it like they do with the cheerios and stuff. That would be fantastic.

My opinion: Very Tasty! They also come in individual packs, which as every person trying to lose weight knows is important! I got these at Walmart down the snack aisle..this week they are by 2 for $5 and I believe there are 7 packs in a box. I may have to go back tonight for some more!
